PLAYERS

Hallam and Redmires Rangers JFC has a reputation as a welcoming, inclusive club and has always supported the highest standard for fair play.

As players and representatives of the club please:

When playing football:

  • Play because you want to - and enjoy it

  • Always give your best for the coach and the team

  • Play fairly, be friendly and respect the Referee

  • Be positive and listen to your coach as they are doing their best for the team

  • If you’re unhappy, talk to your coach/manager first or to someone you trust or the club welfare officer.

  • Encourage and support my team mates and shake hands with the other team – win or lose

I understand that if I do not follow the Code, I may:

  • Be asked to apologise to whoever I’ve upset

  • Receive a warning, be dropped, substituted or suspended from training

COACHES/MANAGERS

As managers, coaches and representatives of the club please:

  • Place the well-being, safety and enjoyment of each player above everything

  • Never tolerate any form of bullying

  • Ensure all activities are suited for the players’ ability and age

On and off the field, you will:

  • Always show respect to everyone involved in the game and work well with others

  • Stick to the rules and celebrate the spirit of the game being a good winner and loser

  • Encourage fair play and high standards of behaviour

  • Never enter the field of play without the referee’s permission

  • Never engage in, or tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive behaviour

I understand that if I do not follow the Code, I may be:

  • Required to meet with the club or league Welfare officer

  • Suspended or fined by the County FA

  • Required to leave, lose my position and/or have my license withdrawn

PARENTS/CARERS

As PARENTS, CARERS AND SPECTATORS please:

  • Support the club’s values, mission statement and volunteer our help

  • Celebrate effort and be positive, not criticise or show frustration

  • Always respect the Referee and coaches and encourage players to do the same

  • Stay behind the touchline and within the Designated Spectators’ Area (where provided)

  • Encourage and let the players play and the coaches coach at all times

  • Never engage in, or tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour

  • Report any concerns you have to the Club’s designated Welfare Officers
