Hallam Rangers Girls U9s are up and running!!

Girls’ football has got off to a cracking start for brand new team Hallam Rangers Girls U9s. At the start of the season, not one of the ten-strong squad had played competitive football before but midway through September, the girls already have two impressive home performances under their belts.

With sterling stints in goal from Libby and Holly and some super-solid defending from Giselle and Freya, every single player played their (footballing) socks off against both Dronfield Town and local rivals Crosspool Juniors. Calista and Summer ran the opposition ragged in midfield and Evie looked like she’d been born on a football pitch, with near-perfect positioning. Frankie and Lucy showed off their fancy footwork and Elisha wowed the crowd with her lightning pace.

All in all we’re expecting great things from this talented bunch – come on Hallam Rangers!!!
